How it works

From one enquiry to a delivered shipment

New to importing from Thailand? You do not need to speak Thai, know the factories or have a freight contact to start. Send us the products you want and where they are going, and aBit Trading runs the rest of the chain: sourcing, consolidation, checks, paperwork and freight.

  • No payment to start

Enquiries and quotations are free. You commit only when you approve a proforma invoice.

  • No site-wide minimum

Minimums are set per supplier and product. Consolidation lets smaller lines travel together in one shipment.

  • A registered Thai exporter

ABIT TRADING CO., LTD. is registered with the Thai DBD. You can check the paperwork yourself before you commit.

  • You choose the handover point

Every order is quoted under the Incoterm you pick: EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP. We can hand over at our warehouse door or run the journey to yours.

The process

Six steps, one partner

  1. 01

    You send an enquiry

Share your product list and destination, by the carton, the pallet or the full container. Brand names, photos, links or a spreadsheet all work, and there is no payment at this stage.

Not sure what to send? Use the enquiry checklist below.

  2. 02

    We source and shortlist

We match your list to Thai suppliers and confirm what is available, the pack sizes, the minimums and the lead time for each line, and we flag close alternatives where an item is unavailable.

See what this covers on the services pages.

  3. 03

    You get one quotation

A single quotation for the whole mixed order: product pricing, consolidation, documentation and freight, priced under the Incoterm you choose.

Never used an Incoterm? The plain-words guide below covers the four we quote.

  4. 04

    Confirm and produce

You approve the final list and terms on a proforma invoice, with the payment terms set out in the quote. We then place orders with the suppliers and schedule production and collection.

First order with us? Verify our company registration before you pay.

  5. 05

    Consolidate and check

Goods from every supplier arrive at our own Bangkok warehouse, where each line is checked against your order and spec sheet before anything is packed. Problems are caught here, not at your port.

  6. 06

    Documents, freight and delivery

We prepare the export documentation, pass through factory certificates such as GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 or Halal where they exist, book the freight and ship from Laem Chabang under your Incoterm.

What to put in your enquiry

  • The products you want: names, brands, photos or links. A spreadsheet is ideal, a WhatsApp message works.
  • Rough quantities per item, or an overall budget or container size.
  • Your destination: country, plus the port or city if you know it.
  • Your preferred Incoterm, if you have one. If not, we will walk you through the options.
  • Any deadline the order has to meet.

Missing half of this? Send what you have and we will help you scope the rest. Start your enquiry.

Shipping terms

Incoterms in plain words

An Incoterm is the standard trade term that fixes where our responsibility ends and yours begins. aBit Trading quotes under whichever of these suits you, agreed before anything is committed.

  • EXW

    Ex Works

You collect the goods at our Bangkok warehouse and manage every leg from there. Suits buyers with their own forwarder in Thailand.

  • FOB

    Free on Board

We handle everything in Thailand, including export clearance, and load the goods on the vessel at Laem Chabang. Your forwarder takes over from there.

  • CIF

    Cost, Insurance and Freight

We also book and pay the sea freight and insurance to your destination port. You handle import clearance and onward delivery.

  • DAP

    Delivered at Place

We carry the shipment to the agreed place in your country and you handle import duties and clearance. The most hands-off option for you.

Common questions

What first-time buyers ask

Is there a minimum order quantity?

There is no single site-wide MOQ. Minimums are set per supplier and per product, so what applies to your order depends on the items you choose and the suppliers behind them. We confirm the applicable minimums for your specific assortment as part of the quote.

This is where mixed-SKU consolidation helps. By combining a varied order into one shipment, smaller per-line quantities that would not ship economically on their own can travel together, so you are not forced to take a full load of any single product just to make the numbers work. The practical reach of that depends on your mix and is confirmed case by case rather than promised in advance.

How long does an order take?

Total lead time depends on the order rather than on a fixed schedule. The assortment you choose, supplier availability, the consolidation step and your destination all shape how long an order takes, so we confirm the timing per order once the assortment is set rather than quoting a blanket figure.

What stays consistent is the process the goods move through. Items are inspected against your spec sheet before consolidation, so issues are caught before the order is brought together for shipment, and orders ship through Laem Chabang. Once your assortment is agreed we map out the realistic timing for your specific shipment and confirm it with you.

What payment terms and Incoterms do you offer?

Payment terms are quoted per order rather than published as a blanket policy. What is workable depends on the order, so we set out the terms for your specific shipment as part of the quote; we do not list customer-specific terms here.

On delivery, aBit Trading ships under the buyer’s preferred Incoterm (for example EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP), agreed before commitment. That keeps the choice yours: if you have your own forwarder you may prefer EXW or FOB, while CIF or DAP can be discussed if you would rather we carry the shipment further. We confirm the Incoterm that suits your order before anything is committed.

What export documentation do you handle?

aBit Trading coordinates the available, authorised export and product documents that go with your shipment, and confirms destination-specific requirements case by case. Because the rules vary by product and by country, we treat each order on its own terms rather than assuming a single checklist fits every route.

Where the factory holds product certificates (such as GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 or Halal), these can be passed through on request. aBit Trading does not self-certify: we provide the manufacturer’s certificates where they exist, rather than issuing our own.

This is an overview of how we coordinate documentation, not legal or regulatory advice. The authoritative requirements for any shipment are confirmed for your specific products and destination as part of the quote.
